Tuberculosis Reference Laboratory was established in 1968 with the assistance of British Medical Research Council (BMRC). The National Tuberculosis and Leprosy Control Program (NTLP) under Ministry of Health and Social Welfare (MOHSW) run the Central Tuberculosis Reference Laboratory (CTRL), to support Tuberculosis and Leprosy Control activities. National Institute for Medical Research (NIMR) Muhimbili, supports the CTRL & NTLP particularly.
We have developed a dynamic website that enables them to easily update the content and disseminate useful information to their audiences.
We have also developed a TB results management system, CTRL can now disseminate and allow Regional District Health Officers to view the TB results of the samples they have sent to CTRL for testing.
We gathered their requirements and developed the web solution based on industry standard technology to ensure scalability and user friendliness for users of different origin.
